The tubes for terrarium rain system are the basic component for assembling, expanding or renovating any spray installation. Choosing the correct diameter is key to maintaining pressure, avoiding leaks and achieving a fine and constant spray at the nozzles. In this option you can select the meters you need depending on your set-up: a single terrarium, several connected terrariums or a larger installation with a professional pump.

✅ Which tubing do you need depending on the system?

These tubes are used depending on the pump and the section of the circuit:

🔹 4mm tubing (pump → nozzles).

The 4mm tube is used to connect the pump to the nozzles in more compact rainfall systems, especially in typical ULKA pump configurations. It is the usual diameter in the last sections of the circuit, close to the spraying.

🔹 Pipe 8mm (tank → pump).

The 8mm tube connect the water tank with the pump. It is an important section because it feeds the system inlet: a stable suction helps the pump to work better and avoids performance losses.

🔹 6mm tube and 10mm tube (diaphragm pump system)

In rainfall systems with diaphragm pump (more professional category), are normally used:

  • 10mm tube (inlet/suction to pump)

  • 6mm tube (outlet/pressure to the nozzle circuit)

This allows better utilization of flow and pressure in installations with many nozzles and long strokes.

💧 Key recommendation: use an external tank with clear water.

To extend system life and reduce clogging, we always recommend that the water source be an external clear water reservoir., without suspended matter. This helps to:

  • keep nozzles spraying fine

  • reduce particle blockages

  • avoid sediments in pipes and fittings

  • improving irrigation stability over time

📏 Buy by the meter: adapt the assembly to your terrarium

Select how many meters you need according to:

  • number of nozzles and distance between them

  • location of the tank with respect to the terrarium

  • if the system is to be installed in a technical cabinet, shelf or rack

Practical advice: always leave a small margin of extra tubing so that you can reposition nozzles or perform maintenance without running short.
