Deep heat projector

The Arcadia Deep Heat Projector (Deep Heat Projector) is one of the most advanced ways of providing natural infrared heat to reptiles and amphibians without emitting visible light (or practically nothing), so that it can be used both day and night without interfering with resting and biological rhythms. It is designed to provide more “solar” and effective heat than many non-lighted sources, making it a top choice for terrariums where thermal stability and animal welfare are a priority.

Unlike light bulbs that illuminate (and can disrupt the night), the Deep Heat Projector is designed to provide warmth without providing appreciable brightness. 🌡️ What makes it different? Infrared IR-A and IR-B

This projector projects Infrared A and B, The wavelengths associated with a “deeper” and more efficient heat sensation for thermoregulation (very similar to solar thermal radiation). This is why it is excellent for creating a more effective hot spot. no visible light.

Important: the ceramic emitters are still a very reliable option for overall heat and thermal support (especially at night). The difference is that the DHP is geared for more “solar” heat because of its IR mix, so many caregivers choose it when looking for more natural thermal performance without light.

• Bushing: compatible with standard lampholders (usually E27 in this type of projectors; if your file indicates another thread, I will adapt it).

• Control recommendation: use it with thermostat (best adjustable/dimming) to keep the temperature stable and safe.

🧩 Recommendation for your setup

For round mounting: ceramic bushing (heat resistant), safety cage if inside the terrarium, and thermostat to control the hot spot and avoid overheating.
